What is the statutory status in Even Yehuda Park complex 5?
Complex 5 in Even Yehuda, also called the park complex, is marked according to TMM 21/3 in zoning as an area for urban development and an ideal zoning for thawing.
In 2020, the city council and the local committee for Sharon planning and construction approved in principle the overall outline plan of Even Yehuda 457-0497610 and this is a submission in August 2020 to the district committee for further discussions and approval of the plan.
Regarding the park complex, the plan stated that the complex will have an area of 380 dunams and it will include about 1,508 housing units and commercial areas of 3,200 square meters.
On 10/18/2021, a discussion was held in the district committee regarding the deposit of the plan and it was determined that the plan will be deposited subject to the fulfillment of conditions established in the decision. The decision stated that in light of the fact that Even Yehuda is being transformed from a rural Sami settlement to an urban Sami settlement, entry thresholds for public uses are being created that were not there before, hence complexes 5-7 (including the park complex) according to the outline plan are also supposed to respond to urban uses and therefore it is possible that the provision for public needs will exceed 50%.
